This list identifies the majority of cities/towns in New Mexico and southern Colorado. When viewing the list, don't forget to also look under "El" and "Las" which may be part of the name. Many missions often did not have a priest, and families waited for a visiting priest. This meant records may be found in another mission's records. Those locations are identified next to the name of the current county. Also, many county lines changed since the original ones were established, so that the location of records also changed.

Find the city/town to get the county you need, then use the map (or the links in the frame at right) to jump to that county. Cities/towns in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS indicate that Catholic churches are located there. If the city/town you are looking for is not here, please contact Angela@USRoots.com.
