The New Mexico Genealogical Society, founded in 1960, is composed entirely of volunteers. 2010 will be our 50th year of providing research materials and networking opportunities for family historians.

One volunteer position still open in 2008: Publicity Description of duties: Simply, tell the genealogical community about New Mexico Genealogical Society and the work we are doing here. Volunteers on the publicity committee contact the news outlets (newspapers, radio) and prepare posters and flyers for upcoming programs and NMGS activities.
