the information hidden away in little files like this
one is what helps someone get around that "brick
wall." This material was found in a file folder labeled
Grand Army of the Republic #13--Posts--Carleton
Burial List, National Cemetary [sic],
1898. The file, which consists of three pages
of handwritten names, is housed at the New Mexico State
Records Center and Archives, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Spelling has been retained as found in
the record. |
