The New Jersey Genesis is a compilation of genealogical and historical data of early New Jersey. It was published in the period 1953 through 1971 and consists of approximately 800 pages. An early NMGS volunteer indexed the material which was housed at Special Collections Library in Albuquerque, NM, and the index was published by the Society.

This illustrates the diversity of genealogy enthusiasts living in New Mexico, and emphasizes the long history of the New Mexico Genealogical Society.
