This single marriage record was found among baptisms in the Picuris records, AASF microfilm Reel 6.

JUAN RAFAEL MASCARENAS, single, from Santa Barbara, was married to MARIA ROSA SANDOVAL, single, from San Juan (Nepomuceno).  Groom's parents were VICENTE MASCARENAS (deceased), and MARIA LUISA JARAMILLO.   Bride's parents were MANUEL SANDOVAL (deceased), and MARIA PRISILIANA GONZALES. The priest was Padre Antonio Jose Martinez

A single marriage entry found among records of New Mexico land transactions:
JAMES MOSER and ELIZABETH McBETH, married in Mora on April 8, 1865.

Mora Justice of the Peace records pertaining to land transactions. Married by Kirby Benedict, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Territory of New Mexico, page 171. Microfilm titled: Mora J.P. Records 1856-1868, Call Number m978.954n532m.

Grant County Marriages --1868-1872. These marriage records were found in a Grant County Mining Deed book . From the New Mexico Genealogist, Mar 1990, pp. 10-12.

Five burial records were mistakenly listed among marriage records for Santa Cruz de La Cañada, from 1726 to 1832.  They are in AASF Roll #30, frame 728. The entries were signed by Fr. Theodoro Alcina.

Burial rites were given to the five on the dates shown.

14 November 1830, JOSE MANUEL PACHECO, having been married to MARIA JOSEFA MADRIL, residents of La Cañada (Santa Cruz).

16 November 1830, JUANA, child of PABLO SISNEROS and YSIDORA ARCHULETA. They were residents of El Ranchito.

18 November 1830, MARIA PAULA CORDOVA, having been married to JUAN PHELIPE GIRON, residents of Taos.

22 November 1830, JOSE, child of JOSE ANDRES FRESQUIS and MARIA JOSEFA QUINTANA. They were residents of La Cañada.

25 November, 1830, MARIA ANASTASIA, child of JOSE ANTONIO VALDES and MARIA JUANA TAFOIA. (No residence was shown).

Notation:  "These five entries belong in the book of burials and were placed here by mistake."
