Catholic Churches bordering New Mexico |
Due to boundary changes and migrations, the church
records of New Mexico families may be found in one of
these 13 counties along the New Mexico border.
The counties are all in the Diocese of Pueblo.
Clicking on a county will take you
to a list of Catholic churches in that county.

The Diocese of Pueblo was erected a Diocese on November
15, 1941. The Catholic Pastoral Center address is 1001 N.
Grand Ave., Pueblo, CO 81003. Phone (719) 544-9861; FAX
(719) 544-5202. An extremely helpful web site is at http://www.dioceseofpueblo.com/.
This site is a work-in-progress and the
pages will be updated as needed. If sending email to us
with corrections or additions that apply to any of these
pages, please put the words "church project" in the subject
line, include your source reference, and send to info@nmgs.org.
Due to a high volume of incoming mail, this webmaster
is not able to answer online research questions. Please
make use of our extensive link
section, try the volunteer groups below, or see email for research suggestions.
GenWeb is a link in a chain of state web sites that covers
the entire United States. They have online records, areas
for posting queries, and volunteer researchers. For Colorado,
see: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/co/cofiles.htm.
