Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has a helpful service for those who have their genealogical work in print but have not had a desire to publish it. In exchange for allowing the Allen County Library to make one photocopy for its collection, they provide the compiler of the work with one complementary bound photocopy and return the original master. Send an unbound "master copy" to the Historical Genealogy Department at P.O. Box 2270, Fort Wayne, IN 46801-2270 with a note reading "Photocopy Exchange Program." While enriching the Allen County Library's collections, this service ensures your work is secure from any disaster that might befall your personal library. From Tip of Texas Newsletter, Vol. 43.3, 2005.
