New Mexico Ancestors is a file of
families who lived in New Mexico prior to statehood in
1912. A full copy of your entry will be placed in
the Special Collections Branch of the Albuquerque Public
Library. Space permitting, a summary will be published
in the New Mexico Genealogist and/or on
the NMGS web site.
Surnames on each form are indexed at
the Special Collections Library, Albuquerque, NM, for
access to the information by others researching early
New Mexico families. Membership in NMGS is not a requirement
for this service, and you are not limited in the number
of entries you may submit.
Although your information should be as
complete as possible, it is of value to have whatever
limited information you have available at present.
